Fast Charger
Our smart charger makes it fast and easy to charge your DLG battery safely. Just connect it to your DLG battery with the power switch in the ON position. You’ll see the charger’s LED light turn red. After the charge cycle completes, the LED turns green, and you’re ready to cruise again.
The smart charger takes all the guess work out of charging your battery. We chose a very gentle trickle charger to include with the DLG, but even so, it can still overcharge if left on the battery for days at a time. Sometimes a full trickle charge will take 6 hours; sometimes it will take 12 hours, depending on how low the battery is. The fast charger only charges as much as the battery needs. So you don’t have to monitor it. And it takes a fifth of the time.
The smart charger also has the advantage of accepting both 110 and 220 AC power. So if you travel a lot, this is the one to get.
We offer European and UK compatible cords, just add a comment when ordering if you need the Euro or UK plug style.

Soul Cycle DIT Head Unit Box
The Soul Cycle Head Unit is an attractive control panel and project box that makes wiring a snap.
Whether you’re working on a custom Soul Cycle using one of our Soul Cycle Mothership cabinets, or a sound system or human power project of your own creation, the wiring can be a major challenge. It’s always the last thing you do, which means you’re likely to be be running up against a deadline when it comes time to wire up your creation. That’s when the Soul Cycle DIT Head Unit can really come in handy. With this Head Unit you instantly have:
- an attractive control panel that’s perfect for either cruising with music, or human power demonstrations.
- Mounts on your handlebars with the excellent KlickFix quick release system. Secure, quick, fun, and suave. Click. Click. Ready to cruise.
- Comes with the 8-way quick-release electrical connector. Road tested strain relief and wire management! This means you can separate the Head Unit from your wiring harness with a single twist-unlock move.
- The top surface of the Head Unit is a removable plate of polycarbonate. Drill it, cut it, customize it, then attach it with four screws. If you make a bad mistake, throw it out and start again without sacrificing the whole head unit.
- Can be reused for new projects. You might have a great time with your Human Power at indoor events in the wintertime, then want to create a Soul Cycle to lead social rides in the summertime. The Head Unit can be rewired and re-purposed.

Buy your Soul Cycle in kit form to make a party bike on a budget!
We offer plans and guidance to people who want to build up a Soul Cycle on their own. Building your own Soul Cycle is a fun and approachable challenge. The skills you’ll need are basic woodworking and electronics assembly skills. No soldering is required! We’ve taken all the hard parts and done it for you. Our unique Soul Cycles are customizeable with your artwork and lighting. Pair it with the Down Low Glow for a sizzlin’ ride.
Here’s what comes in the basic DIY pack for the Soul Cycle Classic:
- Wiring harness: This is like the circulatory system for your Soul Cycle, connecting the switches and audio source on the front of your bike to the battery, amp, and speakerbox on the rear. Saves you the hard work of wiring up your Soul Cycle.
- Parts list, with recommendations for purchasing supplies online. Your parts budget for a Soul Cycle Classic will be around $550. This parts list should save you about $200-400 over what you’d pay if you didn’t have our recommendations.
- Woodworking blue print. This includes the cut list and build procedure for a Soul Cycle Classic. There are multiple angles for the blueprints and it’s easy to read. You just need access to woodworking tools and 2-3 weekends of shop time, and you’ll be able to turn out a great looking Soul Cycle Classic!
- A copy of Fossil Fool’s e-book, “Soul Cycle Mobile Audio: A Guide to Cruising with Music” The cost of the kit is $375. For an additional 175, I can complete the entire control panel, leaving you to buy supplies and build only the music cabinet.

It comes ready to customize with a nice cosmic paint job. It’s got controls right where you want them — the handlebars — so you can DJ while you ride.
This Soul Cycle could be the foundation of a very fun series of Cruiser Rides in your town this summer. It’s upgradeable and expandable. It’s fully compatible with our Soul Cycle head unit.
